Displays and Shows
The school's main shows are held at the Queen's Theatre in Hornchurch or the Thameside Theatre in Grays, Essex. Every pupil from the youngest to the eldest is given the opportunity to take part.
For many, this is the start of their lifelong love of performing on a professional stage.
The school has performed at Her Majesty's Theatre, Haymarket, London.
Smaller demonstrations and charity concerts are held at various times.
Chelmsford Ballet Company
Many pupils past and present have been accepted into this company. Entry is by audition, and all pupils that are members, have a wonderful incite into the world of classical ballets. There are at present eight pupils rehearsing for 'Cinderella' to be staged 10-13th March 2010.

National Association of Teachers of Dancing
Examinations are held twice a year in all disciplines. The babies are able to take little tests called 'Rainbows' which help them prepare for more formal examinations as they progress through the school. Adults are also catered for with an excellent range of exams available for those that want to try!!
All our examinations obtain excellent marks. 100% Pass to Distinction every time.
Private coaching is available for pupils wishing to further their graded work.
No child will be entered for an exam if they do not wish to do them- they will move up to the next grade with their class.

Competitions
The school enters various local dance competitions throughout the year. We have an excellent record of achievement and for many years have won the Highest Aggregate of Marks at The Romford Stage Festival. A high percentage of soloists are placed in their various disciplines and Tracey Kieve, Lisa Wilson, Jennifer Sargeant, Nicole Gadbury and Hannah Kieve have all won, over the years, the cup for the Highest Mark of the Festival and/ or the award for the most promising competitor.
